Dear Wine Lover,
Today I am pleased to offer you an incredible price on Guado Al Tasso from Antinori from the great tuscan vintage 2007…
Antinori; This should be sufficient to introduce this famous and incredible Estate that is definitely producing from 25 generations, some of the best wines in Italy and in all the World.
Tignanello, Solaia, Brunello di Montalcino Pian delle Vigne, here are some of the wines that Antinori produces and each vintages is a constant surprise.
Today we want to propose you another wine, which is as much interesting as the other that I mentioned earlier, a wine that fully expresses the Bolgheri terroir in all its structure, elegance and complexity, Guado al Tasso.
As James Suckling said, the 2007 vintage of Guado al Tasso: “may turn out to be the best release yet”, it shows the potential of this vintage which had in August and September the ideal meteorological conditions that permitted all of the harvesting operations to be carried out at the best possible moment.
After 25 generations of experience and tradition, the recent major change at Antinori is the separation of the vinification of component wines for Guado al Tasso, Tignanello and Solaia, which began with the 2004 vintage. This allowed to concentrate on each single wine separately and the Guado al Tasso 2007 is taking on a much more Bordeaux-like personality.
In the Guado al Tasso 2007 sweet grilled herbs, mocha, spices and black cherry jam are woven into a generous, expansive frame.
There is a wonderful sense of richness and warmth to the fruit that carries through to the round harmonious finish, where clean, minerally notes add freshness.
That’s why we want to propose Guado al Tasso 2007 which turn out to be one of the Top wines Antinori ever made, we hope that you won’t miss this chance to purchase some bottles:
75.0 cl Guado al Tasso - Antinori 2007 CHF 60.00 (CHF 64.80 Swiss VAT Included)
36 bottles or more at CHF 58.00 (CHF 62.65 Swiss VAT Included)
James Suckling 97 points: What a powerful nose. Fresh herbs, currants, cassis, minerals, orange peel, pepper, and a rosemary character. A full bodied wine with minerals, dried herbs, currants, and hints of lightly toasted oak. This is very precise, powerful, and gorgeous. Immense complexity with a very, very long finish. Fabulous and balanced right now but could still use more bottle age. This may turn out to be the best release yet. Find the wine.
