Dear Wine Lover,
Hope everything is fine.
If you love Spanish wines, those two we are proposing today, are definitely a must have in your cellar, in our opinion two of the greatest price-quality wines, which allows you to have two fantastic Ribera del Duero wines equal in quality to the most famous Alion and Aalto.
Mariano Garcia, the owner of Bodera Mauro, was the winemaker of Vega Sicilia and now the winemaking is in the hands of his sons, Alberto and Eduardo. The estate is located just outside the border of Ribera del Duero which gave to family Garcia the chance to develop wines with an unique style and blend, difficult to find somewhere else in Ribera del Duero. Mauro 2009 is composed of 90% Tempranillo and 10% Syrah, and Terreus 2009 is composed of 100% Tempranillo.
The fact that Mauro 2009 hasn’t been rated yet, gives us the chance to offer you this nice Spanish drop at an amazing price. In the last 5 years this wine has always been rated between 90-93 points by Robert Parker.
Terreus 2009 is the flagship wine of Bodegas Mauro, released only in exceptional vintages, and as the Mauro 2009, the wine hasn’t been rated yet but the last vintage, in 2006, has been rated 98 Parker points. Again, if you love Spanish wines, we advise you to taste these incredible two wines.
