Dear Wine Lover,
We had an incredible opportunity to secure three different vintages of Cheval Blanc, 2006-2007-2008 at almost half the market price in Switzerland. While buying a large stock from a supplier in need of cash, our buying team has managed to purchase a nice selection of Cheval Blanc with prices bellow En Primeur prices… As we managed to buy well, we are pleased to offer this opportunity on to our faithful clients.
This is a unique opportunity to buy recent vintages of Cheval Blanc at incredible prices. As we managed to secure us only a few cases of each vintage and because this price is already ridiculous, we cannot do any discounts for more than 36 bottles. I hope you can understand. In order to avoid disappointment please let us know as soon as possible if you wish to take this opportunity.
All wines are in OWC of 12 bottles and in perfect conditions, coming directly from Bordeaux.
75.0 cl Cheval Blanc - St. Emilion 2006 CHF 390.00 (CHF 421.20 Swiss Vat included) - Competitors in Switzerland are selling at CHF 900.00 + Vat per bottle
Rene Gabriel 19/20: There were huge amounts of unusable grapes not harvested or discarded. 62% of production was used for Grand Vin. Dark, deep garnet, purple reflexes. Magnificent bouquet with leather notes, Musk, Irish moss, smoke tones, licorice and dark berries and cassis. On the palate the wine is dense, but fine, showing a racy fruit acidity, again a lot of black, almost mysterious aromas. It tastes so wonderful already now, as otherwise only bottles that have matured 10 years do. I would say that this wine will be enjoyable already young, but that can age also very long. Those who mourn after the old, particularly profound Chevals find solace here. Maybe this is even a successor of the 1961? Drinkability: 2015-2045.
Robert Parker 95: The brilliant 2006 Cheval Blanc performed better from bottle than from barrel. A blend of equal parts Cabernet Franc and Merlot grown in a superb vineyard site facing La Conseillante and l?Evangile at the very edge of the sandy, gravelly soils of St.-Emilion, it boasts a dense ruby/purple color as well as a sweet perfume of menthol, charcoal, boysenberries, black currants, and hints of cocoa and caramel. Lush, textured, and opulent with superb purity, medium to full body, savory flavors, and sweet, sexy tannins, this stunning Cheval Blanc may be even better than the 2005. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2030.

Rene Gabriel 18/20: 60% Cabernet Franc, 40% Merlot. Thick dark purple. Intense bouquet, a lot of dark plums, some chocolate notes, Darjeeling tea, malt and fine woods , complex and full-bodied with a lot of spice in the background. On the palate very rich and very dense extract, black berries, classic structure, not as fine as in other years, but with a nice character, licorice, Szechuan pepper. Long, aromatic finish. Seems the 1985 but with more finesse. Drinkability: 2018-2035
75.0 cl Cheval Blanc - St. Emilion 2008 CHF 425.00 (CHF 459.00 Swiss Vat included) – Competitors in Switzerland are selling at CHF 600.00 + Vat per bottle
Magnum available at CHF 750.00 + Vat
Rene Gabriel 19/20: 50% Extremely dense purple with purple reflex. Discrete bouquet with a lot of depth, a lot of spices, cardamom, clove, musk, liquorices. Elegant palate, the tannins are extremely fine, dense and have a lot of fat. Sweet extract, black fruit, blueberry. The price level was recently murderously high and even long-time traders refused to take allocations. Drinkability: 2018-2038
James Suckling 95: I’am really impressed with this. It is powerful and rich with so much blueberry, vanilla and spice on the nose and palate. It's full and very spicy, and fruity on the palate, but remains refined and subtle. Rich and polished tannins too. This needs at least five years of bottle age to come around.
